My Cheek line is proven back to my great-great grandfather, Gazaway Cheek, who was born in the Spartanburg District of South Carolina on 26 November 1810. The above photo, taken in 1932, shows my great grandfather (beard), grandfather and me on my father's lap.

Gazaway's son, Sylvester Cheek, is my great grandfather.

Sylvester's son, Charley Cheek, is my grandfather.

Charley's son, Andrew Sylvester Cheek, is my father.

Alan, Charles, Kenneth and Steven Cheek are my four sons. I have no daughters.
